NLP's founder has over 25 years of experience in a variety of areas focusing on those listed below and has over 17 years of experience in large international law firms including several years as a partner. Rod Nydam is the founder of the firm and has over twenty-five years of experience as a corporate attorney including over seventeen years of experience in large international law firms. Mr. Nydam was a partner in both Howrey LLP and McGuireWoods, LLP and also was an associate at Jones Day Reavis & Pogue, and Clifford Chance. Mr. Nydam is an experienced corporate and policy attorney with a broad base of expertise in providing advice to clients relating to (i) mergers, acquisitions and corporate restructuring, (ii) emerging growth and technology, (iii) energy transactions, (iv) business entity formation finance and governance, (v) Homeland Security and information sharing (CII, PCII, CIPAC, FOIA, FACA and Sunshine Laws), (vi) technology licensing, employment and other general transactional matters, (vii) real estate and (vii) trade association issues.
This broad background gives a perspective to offer new, flexible and unique methods of problem solving and the ability to provide clients with legal advice reflecting big firm expertise and experience.
Mr. Nydam has worked with a variety of industries including energy, defense, real estate, high technology, hospitality, telecommunications, construction, health care, development finance, homeland security and others. In addition, he has given several speeches and presentations to bar
associations and professional groups addressing a variety of corporate law issues.
